If you need a visa to attend The Safety & Security Event Series (The Health & Safety Event, The Security Event, The Fire Safety Event and The Workplace Event) it is essential that you begin the application process as soon as possible, in order that you obtain your visa in time for the show or registration deadline. Visa application procedures for entering many countries, and in particular the UK, have become stricter and more complex following Covid-19, and therefore it can take much longer to process your application than anticipated. You must submit your own application to the relevant authority and follow up accordingly. The Safety & Security Event Series is unable to follow up your application on your behalf or enter into direct correspondence with consulates.
A Visa Support Letter will ONLY be issued to SPEAKERS and EXHIBITORS who have been invited by The Safety & Security Event Series or who have paid their exhibition registration fee in full. Once we have confirmed receipt of payment from the proposed attendee, we will need the full name, nationality, passport number, expiry date and date of birth for the attendee, only then can we issue a Visa Support Letter. The Visa Support Letter will confirm the event title, date and location. It will also confirm whether the individual is a speaker or exhibitor. It will not imply any undertaking to provide funding nor act as financial guarantee for your stay in the UK. The Safety & Security Event Series reserves the right not to issue a Visa Support Letter in certain cases even if above conditions have been met. Exhibition Fees will not be refunded in the case of a Visa not being obtained.
Are you able to book the conferences / seminars?
No, our conferences / seminars are run on a first come, first served basis. All we advise is that visitors arrive at the seminars in plenty of time to avoid any disappointment.
NB: Please note that as well as seminars, there will be workshops running. Some workshops will require additional registration / booking due to limited spaces being available. These workshops will be advertised as requiring additional registration on the show website.
At The Fire Safety Event, we are proud to be able to offer a CPD accredited educational programme designed to provide expert insight and learnings for professionals.
Attendees will have their visitor badges scanned on their way into each theatre for each educational session they attend. At the end of the show, the number of sessions attended will be tallied and you will need to email The Safety & Security Event Series Team: email@example.com for an electronic certificate of attendance which states the name of the attendee, date and title of sessions attended and the number of CPD hours. Visitors will need to contact their professional body, employer or association to add their certification of attendance to their personal record to show the further learning they have achieved for that year.
