Will Lloyd is Head of Technical at the Fire Industry Association, a role he has held since 2024, having been with the Association since 2015. Based at the FIA’s training facility in Northwich, Cheshire, he leads the Technical Team, overseeing the development of industry-leading training, technical guidance, and member support.
With over 25 years’ experience across the fire, security, and electrotechnical sectors, Will is a recognised technical expert in fire detection and alarm systems, fire risk assessment, and fire engineering. He is Chair of BSI committee FSH/12 and an active contributor to standards development across the fire sector, representing the FIA on numerous British Standard committees and industry stakeholder groups.
