The SSAIB training manager, Trevor Jenks joined the organisation when it was formed. Serving a security engineering apprenticeship himself back in 1969, in his family security company, he worked his way up through the national companies and has been a main player in security and fire training since 1986. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development (MCIPD), Trevor is the Fire and Security Sector lead under the Building Safety Regulator’s installer electrotechnical Super sector and chairs the UK Employer forum. He is an independent member on the ECS steering committee and sits various other industry committees.
