Tariq is the ASFP’s Compliance & QA manager responsible for producing and managing the ASFP’s umbrella member quality mark scheme, competency pathway, and certification schemes run by the ASFP for its members.

From 2008 to 2010 he worked for TRADA Technology as part of the team responsible for third party certification of construction products, including CE marking and auditing.

More recently he has been the Head of Compliance for the LIA (Lighting Industry Association) managing a UKAS accredited testing laboratory and certification body, producing, and implementing certification schemes and managing business critical accreditations such as ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17065 and ISO 9001.
