Rosie Sonnenschein
Rosie Sonnenschein is an architect working as a Lead Building Safety Manager at Peabody. She leads multidisciplinary teams to investigate the external walls and the primary structure of higher-risk buildings (HRBs). Rosie regularly collaborates with structural engineers, fire engineers, mechanical and electrical engineers, surveyors, asbestos specialists, communications colleagues, fire risk assessors, the London Fire Brigade, and a range of other designers and installers.
As Principal Designer (BSR) Rosie has gained building control approvals for HRB refurbishment projects, which required coordination with the Principal Contractor, electrical engineer, gas statutory provider, gas safety engineers, and fire stopping installers among others.
Managing building safety requires a holistic understanding of occupied buildings, and Rosie has learned something new from each project team.
