Ken Bullock
Ken Bullock is the Technical Schemes and Assurance Manager at BAFE Limited, joining the organisation two years ago to lead the development, maintenance, and assurance of BAFE’s fire safety competence schemes. He is currently overseeing scheme reviews to ensure alignment with new Government standards and evolving industry expectations.
With over 40 years of experience in the fire safety sector, Ken is a highly respected figure known for his contributions to advancing fire detection technologies and shaping industry standards. Ken was instrumental in the development of EN54‑25, acting as the UK principal expert within the CEN working group responsible for the standard. As wireless systems became an integral part of mainstream fire detection, his remit broadened, leading him to contribute to a wider range of automatic fire detection and alarm standards.
Today, Ken brings his extensive technical expertise and industry insight to BAFE, supporting its mission as an independent, not‑for‑profit organisation committed to improving fire life safety services across the UK through UKAS‑accredited, third‑party certification schemes.
