A Chartered Fellow Health, Safety and Fire professional with nearly 25 years’ experience in the industry and now working in the housing management sector. Colin leads the Risk Management team, advises the board and senior leadership teams on matters of Risk, Compliance and Fire and Safety. Colin leads engagement with enforcing authorities and represents the organisation within professional bodies such as The Property Institute (TPI), sitting on specialist committees and also including the Institution of Fire Engineers Membership Application Assessment Panel where he appraises and approves the next generation of Fire Engineers. He is also a member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, a Fellow in the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management and Chartered Member of The Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. Living at home with his wife and two children of 9- and 17-year-olds, along with Roko the dog, and currently studying for Chartered Membership with the Chartered Institute of Buildings. He has a passion for all things health, safety and fire and looks to bring his specialisms to the sector to make peoples lives safer.
