Andy Packham has worked within the electrical and fire industries for over 30 years working with a variety of organisations including electrical contractors, fire alarm companies and consultancies, providing him with a broad knowledge of these industries.  He is the Certification Team Manager for BSI covering the certification schemes for fire system installations which includes fire alarm and detection, gas suppression, evacuation alert systems and emergency lighting. He is responsible for the general management of these schemes, all certification aspects, working with other interested parties, stakeholders and future development of these and similar schemes.
