Alan has been in the Fire industry for over 20 years, having spent the majority of his time as a Fire Sales Account Manager & Fire Business Manager at Static Systems Group, specialising in the delivery of complex Fire solutions in the Healthcare and Custodial sectors. Experienced in all elements of Fire System design, implementation and Project Management.
Having joined DVS in early 2025 as Ciqurix Brand Manager, working closely with Ciqurix as their Master Distributor of Video Flame Detection in the UK, Alan has been involved in all elements of VFD and co-authored the CPD course on LPS1976, the new LPCB standard for Video Flame Detection which is now available via CPD UK and Red Book.
