Hochiki Europe Relocates Shipping Hub to Italy for Enhanced Service
Hochiki Europe has announced a significant operational change that will enhance service delivery across the continent.  The fire detection and emergency lighting specialist has relocated its European shipping hub from the United Kingdom to Italy, a strategic move designed to optimise logistics, reduce delivery times, and provide a smoother experience for customers throughout Europe.

The decision to establish the new hub in Italy reflects Hochiki Europe's commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction in an evolving European marketplace.  By positioning a distribution centre within the European Union, the company aims to streamline its supply chain and eliminate many of the challenges that have emerged in recent years.

One of the primary drivers behind this relocation is the reduction of delivery times to customers across Europe.  With Italy's central Mediterranean location and excellent transport infrastructure, the new hub provides improved access to key markets throughout the continent.  This geographical advantage enables Hochiki Europe to reach customers more efficiently, ensuring that critical fire safety equipment arrives when and where it's needed.

The move also addresses the practical challenges of customs procedures and border formalities.  By operating from within the EU, Hochiki Europe can now ship to customers across member states without the customs-related delays and administrative complexities that can occur when goods cross from outside the union.  This simplification of the logistics process translates directly into cost savings for customers, who will benefit from reduced or eliminated customs charges on their orders.

"This relocation represents our dedication to providing the highest level of service to our European customers,"
stated Richard Wharram, Hochiki Europe’s Export Sales Manager.

The new facility is fully equipped to handle our entire product portfolio, from complete fire detection systems to sophisticated emergency lighting solutions, ensuring that we continue to maintain our reputation for reliability and responsiveness”.

The transition to the Italian centre has been carefully planned and executed to minimise any disruption to customer service, and Hochiki Europe's commercial contact for the region will remain the same in the form of, Raul Solinz, Regional Sales Manager for Iberia and the Mediterranean.

Hochiki Europe has worked diligently to ensure that inventory management, order processing, and shipping capabilities meet the same high standards customers have come to expect.  The company's investment in this new infrastructure demonstrates its long-term commitment to the European market and its confidence in continued growth across the region.

For customers, the practical benefits are clear: faster delivery of products, greater transparency in shipping costs, and the elimination of unexpected customs fees that can complicate budgeting and project planning.  These improvements come at a crucial time when businesses across Europe are seeking reliable partners who can deliver quality products with minimal complications.
