Main contractors embrace Passive Fire Protection

Further to the passing of the Building Safety Act last year, Gateway Two which requires Building Control Approval by the Building Safety Regulator before construction work can begin and Gateway Three, which requires a completion certificate to be issued by the Building Safety Regulator are both expected to come into force on 1 October 2023.

The Passive Fire Knowledge Group (PFKG) www.pfkg.org is a group of ten tier 1 contractors who together with The ASFP, BESA and FIS have set up a knowledge group to try and resolve passive fire protection issues – majoring on good and early design.

Come and listen to industry leaders explain how they intend to be ready for these important changes this year.
