An update to the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 under Fire Safety: Approved Document B, Appendix 15.13 – 15.16 has made it a legal requirement for all residential buildings 11m or taller in England to display Wayfinding Signs to assist firefighters in the event of a fire emergency. The signs must identify the floor and indicate the flats on each level. The signs must be visible in low-lighting conditions or when illuminated with a torch.
Make sure you have the right sign for your building.

Jactone is pleased to announce that following recent testing, their aerosol range of fire extinguishers has received Kitemark certification from BSI (British Standards Institute) to the new BS 6165 revision (BS 6165:2019+A1:2022).
This new certification to the latest revision of BS 6165:2019+A1:2022 continues Jactones commitment to providing quality products that have been thoroughly tested and approved by third-party certification bodies.

Jactone is pleased to confirm we have achieved UKCA Mark certification. After a post-Brexit transition period, it will be a legal requirement for all relevant pressure equipment placed on the market in Great Britain to carry the UKCA Mark.
The UKCA Mark certification applies to all Jactone UK manufactured cylinders (pressure vessels) and system assemblies for our Premium and Marine Range fire extinguishers and PAFSS fire suppression systems.

Jactone Products announces the recent appointment of our managing director Craig Halford as chair of the Fire Industry Association’s (FIA) dedicated Extinguishing Council. As a result of this appointment, Craig also assumes his position on the FIA’s Board of Directors.
