What is an ASYRA Lockdown Alarm System?

Martyn's Law
Following the 2017 terrorist attack at the Manchester Arena, where Martyn Hett was among the 22 people killed, his mother Figen Murray campaigned for stronger public safety laws, leading to the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025, known as Martyn’s Law. The Act requires certain venues, events, and schools across the UK to carry out terrorism risk assessments, implement proportionate security measures, and develop clear response plans for communication, lockdown, and evacuation, with stricter requirements for larger premises; enforcement will begin in 2027 to ensure organisations are better prepared to prevent and respond to terrorist incidents.
