Proreact Linear Heat Detection
Proreact linear heat detectors are designed for challenging or hazardous environments where reliable detection is needed in conditions that can affect other technologies (e.g., dirt, dust and damp, or indoor/outdoor installations).
Range overview (choose the right system for the risk):
- Proreact Fixed Temperature – a cost-effective heat-sensing cable that activates at a preset temperature, helping provide dependable protection and identification of the point of risk. It includes features such as Interlock Mode (double knock) to help reduce false alarms and Distance Locating to help find an overheat event quickly.
- Proreact Programmable Temperature – a flexible solution where pre-alarm and alarm temperatures can be set to suit the application, with automatic temperature compensation to help maintain accuracy as ambient conditions change. It also supports rate-of-rise alarming for fast-developing incidents, and a single control unit can monitor up to 500m of LHD cable.
Coverage (by system):
Depending on the variant, Proreact supports long zone lengths (e.g., up to 1,000m for Fixed EN, up to 3,000m for Fixed UL, and 500m for Programmable).
Typical applications
Often used to protect risks such as cable trays, conveyors, car parks, data centres, cold storage, oil & gas, warehouses, factories and processing plants (system dependent).
