Fireray 3000 Ex d is an explosion-proof end-to-end optical beam smoke detection system designed for large enclosures where a potentially explosive atmosphere may be present, providing early warning of smoke-generative fires.
The system consists of a separate infrared transmitter and receiver certified for hazardous areas, supported by a remote/low-level controller with LCD mounted in a safe (non-hazardous) area. This allows engineers to carry out setup, testing, sensitivity adjustments and fire/fault diagnosis without routine high-level access.
