Key Design Features
- Doorset
frame: engineered Pine
or Hardwood, fully factory‑finished
with a water‑based

stability and flatness; internal and external faces can be painted in matching
colours (see https://gdwmgroup.com/external-front-entrance-doors for options).

Accessibility
With extensive
experience supporting social housing providers, we recognise that inclusive
access is fundamental to fire doorset design. Residents with mobility, sensory,
cognitive or strength‑related
needs must be able to operate their doors safely and independently.
Our doorsets
incorporate a range of accessibility‑focused
options, including:
- Optimised effective clear opening widths;
- Low‑level or zero thresholds;
- Low‑ and high‑level door viewer options;
- Multiple
self‑closer
configurations to reduce opening forces;
- Enhanced handle designs to support ease of use;
- Fully automated opening and closing to SBD standard – bi-directionally fire tested to EN1634-1.
