Fike Fire watch

Fike Safety Technology Stand: 3a/A5

Hot work can present numerous types of hazards to workers and the environment around them. However, the most common and significant risk of hot work is fire and explosions. Without the proper safety procedures, all types of hot work can easily ignite a fire.

The term “hot work” includes any work that involves drilling, cutting, grinding, welding, soldering, burning or melting of flammable substances and other spark-producing activities. The risk with hot work is very high because it introduces an ignition source into the environment, which certainly already possesses the other segments of the fire triangle: oxygen and fuel.

Suitable applications for Fike Firewatch : Post Hot Work Monitoring, Monitoring due to impaired Fire Protection System, Consruction Site Monitoring, Remote Site Fire Detection, Monitoring High Hazard Areas.
