Airflow regulator powered by perovskite cells

SMAY Ventilation Systems UK Stand: 5/A128

Want to know how perovskite works?

Perovskite panels are light and flexible, and their unique design features high efficiency in both sunlight and artificial light.

The angle of incidence of the light to the panel surface does not play a significant role, allowing the panel to be positioned as desired, also when the ceiling is built-in and access to light is limited. The energy generated is used to power the circuit board and the electric actuator. By using a microcontroller, the actuating module is properly optimised and saves stored energy.

The battery only activates the electric circuit upon receiving an external signal and requires a minimum amount of electricity while waiting for a signal. The circuit board receives a radio signal and sends information to the actuator, which changes the flow set value.

The new RCP-R CAV offers many benefits, but one of the most important is the fact that the actuating module does not require any external wiring to supply or provide an external control signal. The system in question makes it easier to change the setting of the electric actuator by means of a wireless control signal. The device controller is responsible for communication with the module.   It uses radio waves to send information to the microcontroller.

What is important, it can communicate with one or more actuating modules. It has a channel selection function to control the selected module. Control using a CO2 sensor or room occupancy sensor helps to ensure automatic control of adequate air quality.
